1. General provisions

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you (the “User”) and the owner of the app, and govern your use of the Voice Finance mobile app for iOS and the official website voicefinance.app (together, the “Service”).

These Terms are supplemented by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of them.

2. Owner, developer and service provider

The owner, developer and provider of the Service is Individual Entrepreneur Kirill Mikhailovich Paramonov (the “Developer”).

Address: 3 Prospekt Mira, Apt. 44, Krasnoznamensk, Moscow Oblast, 143090, Russian Federation. INN: 500604796798. OGRNIP: 322508100269063. Full registration details are in section 35.

3. Acceptance of the Terms

By downloading, installing or using the app, or by using the website, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.

If you use the app on behalf of another person or an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

4. What Voice Finance is for

Voice Finance is an app for personal tracking of income and expenses. It lets you add transactions by voice or manually, keep them on your device, sync them through your personal iCloud, review your history and see clear analytics based on your own data.

You enter all information yourself. The app does not connect to bank accounts, does not import statements and does not receive your transaction data from external sources.

5. Right of use and licence

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store rules.

The licence does not transfer any exclusive rights in the app to you. All rights not expressly granted by these Terms remain with the Developer.

6. Permitted use

You may use the app for personal expense tracking: create and edit your own records, configure categories and budgets, use analytics and sync, and contact support.

7. Prohibited actions

When using the Service, you must not:

  • decompile, disassemble or modify the app, or attempt to derive its source code, except where expressly permitted by law;
  • circumvent technical restrictions or subscription checks, or otherwise obtain access to paid features outside the established process;
  • copy, distribute, rent, resell or otherwise make the app available to third parties as a standalone product;
  • use the Service for unlawful activity or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
  • take actions intended to disrupt the Service or the infrastructure hosting it.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its source code, interface, design, graphics, texts, and the Voice Finance name and logo belong to the Developer and are protected by intellectual-property law.

The financial records you create in the app belong to you. The Developer claims no rights in your content and has no access to it.

9. Your responsibility for the information you enter

You enter all information into the app yourself and are responsible for its completeness and accuracy. The app displays and analyses exactly the data you have entered or confirmed.

10. Voice input and speech-recognition limitations

Speech recognition is performed by Apple's system component, Apple Speech. Recognition accuracy depends on the device, the language, pronunciation, speaking pace, background noise and the availability of the offline mode, and cannot be guaranteed.

Voice input is a convenience feature. Manual entry and editing are always available, including where microphone or speech-recognition permissions have not been granted.

11. Limitations of text parsing (Parser)

The app parses recognized or typed text locally and proposes the transaction type, amount, currency, date, title and category. This is an automated interpretation of text: it may get a field wrong, particularly with unusual, ambiguous or complex wording.

The parsed result is always presented to you for review before the transaction is saved.

12. Your duty to check the result

Before saving a transaction you must check:

  • the amount;
  • the transaction type (income or expense);
  • the date;
  • the currency;
  • the category;
  • the transaction title and, where applicable, the account or source;
  • the correctness of the recognized text as a whole.

By saving a transaction you confirm that its contents are correct. All subsequent calculations, balances and analytics are built on the data you have confirmed.

13. The app's financial model

The app works with the transactions you enter and calculates derived figures: the balance for a period, income and expense totals, category breakdowns, spending pace, forecasts and guides. Calculations run locally, following deterministic rules, on your own data.

The app does not account for anything you have not entered: account balances, liabilities, loans, taxes, fees or transactions made outside the app.

14. The “Available to spend today” figure

“Available to spend today” is a supplementary daily guide. It is calculated from the data you have entered for the selected period and changes together with it, including after you add transactions made today.

This figure is not a limit, a permission, a recommendation or a commitment. It does not account for upcoming payments or circumstances not reflected in the app, and must not be treated as advice on how much you may spend.

15. Informational nature of calculations and analytics

All analytics, statistics, conclusions, forecasts and observations are provided for information and reference only. They do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice.

Exchange rates come from external sources, are provided for reference, and may differ from the rates applied by your bank or payment provider.

16. What the app is not

Voice Finance is not, and does not replace:

  • a bank or any other credit institution;
  • a payment system or money-transfer service;
  • an accounting or tax-accounting system;
  • a tax adviser;
  • an investment adviser;
  • a financial adviser or consultant.

The app does not open accounts, does not hold funds, does not process payments or transfers, and has no access to your bank accounts.

17. No guaranteed financial outcome

The Developer does not guarantee any financial outcome, savings, reduction in spending or improvement in your financial position as a result of using the app.

18. Responsibility for financial decisions

Decisions about spending, saving, payments and any other financial actions are yours alone. Before making significant decisions, we recommend verifying the information against primary sources — bank statements and documents — and consulting a qualified professional where appropriate.

19. Local storage, iCloud and backups

App data is stored on your device and, when sync is enabled, in the private database of your personal iCloud account. iCloud is operated by Apple and depends on your account, settings and available storage.

The Developer keeps no copy of your data and cannot restore it. Creating and verifying device backups is your responsibility.

20. Risk of data loss

Data may be lost, in particular when the app is deleted, when iCloud is turned off or fails, when iCloud storage runs out, when your Apple account changes or is lost, when the device fails or is lost or damaged, and when you delete data yourself — including through the delete-all-data function.

Deleting data in the app is irreversible: the Developer cannot restore it.

21. Premium subscription

Scope. Premium unlocks extended capabilities of the app, primarily in-depth analytics and related features. The current set of Premium features is shown in the app on the subscription screen at the time of purchase and may change as the app evolves.

Types and duration. Auto-renewable subscriptions are offered with a one-month and a one-year period.

Price. The full price and the period are displayed by Apple on the purchase screen before you confirm, in your region's currency and inclusive of applicable taxes. These Terms do not set the price: it is determined in the App Store.

Payment and auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal charge is taken within 24 hours before the period ends.

Management and cancellation. You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; Premium access continues until then.

Restoring purchases. Previous purchases can be restored with “Restore Purchases” in the app, using the same Apple account with which the purchase was made.

End of access. When the paid period ends, or if a purchase is revoked or refunded, Premium features are switched off. Your financial records are retained and remain available in the free version.

Price changes. The price may change. Apple notifies you of price changes in accordance with App Store rules; where your consent is required and not given, the subscription does not auto-renew at the new price.

22. Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies; you can submit a request through Apple's “Report a Problem” page or Apple Support.

The Developer does not receive payments directly and is technically unable to issue a refund. Your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected, and you may contact the Developer at [email protected].

23. Third-party Apple services

The app uses Apple services: the App Store, iCloud/CloudKit, Apple Speech and StoreKit. These are provided by Apple under its own terms and privacy policy. The Developer does not control their operation or availability.

24. App updates and changes to features

The app evolves: features may be added, changed or discontinued. The Developer aims not to degrade, without good reason, the advertised capabilities of a paid subscription during the paid period.

Updates are installed through the App Store according to your settings.

25. Service availability

The Developer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. The app's operation may depend on the state of your device, the iOS version, Apple's services, network connectivity and external exchange-rate sources.

26. Device and iOS compatibility

The app is intended for iPhone devices running a supported version of iOS as stated in the App Store. Individual capabilities — in particular on-device speech recognition and iCloud sync — depend on the device model, language and system settings, and may not be available in every configuration.

27. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of speech recognition, or correctness of automated parsing.

This section does not exclude or limit any warranties or rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

28. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not liable for indirect losses or lost profit, nor for losses arising from financial decisions taken on the basis of information from the app, nor for data loss occurring for the reasons described in section 20.

The Developer's liability for failure to perform, or improper performance of, its obligations applies to the extent established by applicable law.

These Terms do not exclude liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

29. Consumer rights

If you use the app as a consumer, you retain all mandatory rights granted to you by the consumer-protection law of your country of residence. These Terms apply only to the extent that they do not conflict with those mandatory rights.

30. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app; if you have a subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple account settings, since deleting the app does not by itself cancel the subscription.

The Developer may suspend or discontinue the Service in the event of a material breach of these Terms, or if support for the app ends, giving notice by available means and respecting the rights of users who have paid for a subscription.

31. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated when the app's functionality or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page together with its effective date.

Changes do not apply retroactively. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated version; if you do not agree, please stop using the app.

32. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

33. Dispute resolution

The parties will seek to resolve any disagreement through negotiation. Please write to [email protected] describing the situation; the Developer will consider it within a reasonable time.

If a dispute cannot be settled, it is resolved by a court in accordance with applicable law. These Terms do not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings in the forum available to you under consumer-protection law, and do not impose mandatory arbitration or any waiver of class actions.

34. Relationship to Apple's terms

The app is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's terms also apply to your use of it, including the App Store Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

These Terms supplement Apple's terms and do not override or replace Apple's mandatory provisions. In the event of a conflict concerning distribution, payment, renewal, cancellation or refunds of the subscription, Apple's terms and policies prevail.
